Terra Mystica is a Eurogame. It's been described as "a Eurogame that rules them all" and it's incredibly hard to believe. However, it is a complete/perfect information board game. This means that there is no chance of any luck involved. Tactical tact is king here.

Players are amid a multi-ethnic land grab, creating landscape terrain to suit the needs of their particular races. However, Terra Mystica doesn't carry too much of a religious aspect. Players can completely freely experience it without fear of potential conflicts. If someone gets there first, then... there's not much you can do. Is it possible to trade with them?

This is a board game that requires players to have high tactical ability. Players must try to use all their skills to rule the most amazing region. In this game, there are no allies or cooperation. The risk factor in the game is also very low.

Terra Mystica is unique in that many different fantasy races are vying for control, but there is no fighting. If someone takes a space you want then you will have to deal with it and come up with another plan. I'm not kidding when I say it's a Eurogame.
